Why There’s an Eye in My Logo

People ask me about the eye in my logo — and the truth is, it comes from a very real part of my story.
As an only child, it often felt like the eyes were always on me. And those eyes didn’t feel kind. They felt filled with judgment — the kind that can quietly tear away your confidence and make you afraid to speak your truth.
For a long time, I carried that feeling with me. I learned to second-guess myself. To shrink. To stay quiet when I had something to say.
But somewhere along the way, something shifted. I realized I was fascinated by eyes. They started showing up in my art in different ways, at different times — almost like a symbol my subconscious kept returning to.
Now, the eye in my logo means something completely different.
To me, it represents looking at the world — and at people — without judgment. Because when we feel safe from judgment, we can have a voice. We can speak with confidence. We can take up space.
That’s what I want Paper and Glue Art Studio to be: a place where you’re reminded to trust your inner voice, to tell the truth of who you are, and to create a life that feels like yours.
If you’ve ever felt watched, judged, or misunderstood — I see you. And I hope my work feels like an invitation to come back to yourself.
