Take the Plunge: An Empowerment Reminder for Your Walls

There’s a moment in every reinvention where you feel it — the edge of something new. The part where your old story ends and the next one hasn’t fully formed yet.
That’s the space I was thinking about when I created my canvas piece, ‘Take the Plunge.’ It’s a visual reminder that courage doesn’t always look loud — sometimes it looks like a quiet decision to trust yourself.
What “take the plunge” means to me
For me, empowerment is choosing yourself — again and again. It’s letting go of the version of you that played small, stayed quiet, or waited for permission.
It’s also honoring the past without living in it. I work with vintage imagery because I love the history inside it — but collage is transformation. It’s proof that old fragments can become something entirely new.
A piece that holds a promise
I love the idea of art living with you — not just as décor, but as a daily nudge. ‘Take the Plunge’ is meant to sit in your space and whisper: you can do the brave thing. You can start over. You can choose joy.
Wherever you are in your own reinvention, I’m cheering for you. And if you need a reminder on the wall — I made one.
