Collage, Confidence, and the Courage to Begin Again

Actualizado: hace 20 horas

Art has always been one of the most honest ways I know to tell the truth — even when I don’t have the perfect words.

For me, collage is an act of expression and an act of reinvention. I take fragments that once belonged to something else — old pages, vintage photos, bits of color and texture — and I build a new story from them. That process mirrors what so many of us are doing in real life.

I make art for women who are learning to trust themselves again. For the women who have been told they’re too much, or not enough. For the women who are carrying fear in one hand and hope in the other — and still showing up.

I want you to feel confident and strong. I want you to hear your inner voice clearly — the one that knows what you need, what you want, and what you’re capable of.

Sometimes the obstacle isn’t the world outside of us — it’s the story we’ve repeated inside of us. The ‘I can’t.’ The ‘I’m not ready.’ The ‘Who do I think I am?’ Collage reminds me that nothing is fixed. You can cut away what doesn’t fit. You can layer in what you need. You can begin again.

If you’re moving through fear right now, I hope my work feels like a small permission slip: to take up space, to be seen, to try, to change your mind, to start over.

And if you ever forget how powerful you are, I hope you’ll come back to your inner voice — the quiet, steady one — and let it lead you forward.

A gentle invitation

If a piece speaks to you, let it live with you — as a reminder on the wall that you’re allowed to evolve. You’re allowed to be brave. You’re allowed to begin again.
